Affordable 100 seat School Canopies
Dining Space completed in just 6 weeks from order
In the summer of 2016 Saffron Walden County High School in Essex approached Streetspace for a solution to increase dining capacity cost effectively. With an underused space identified between existing school buildings and an installation of a new server pod, a covered area would add dining space for 100 students.
High quality 3D rendered visuals demonstrated how a Triton™ steel frame canopy structure, with an asymmetric profiled roof, would provide design connectivity between the main building and single story classrooms, helping the Academy Trust know that Streetspace had the right solution.
The completed 224m² covered space project was installed and ready for use just six weeks later!
Nick Lee, Premises Manager at Saffron Walden County High School, had this to say about the project: ‘The new canopy looks great and the students are very excited to have this new dining space, but what has impressed us the most about working with Streetspace is the speed of installation. We sent a purchase order on the 22nd July and the structure was completed and handed over ready for use for the 1st September new term start date! This is no mean feat as it’s a big structure – 32m x 7m – and it included removing a grass area and paving over. The quality of workmanship is excellent, and the level of communication has been first class throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Streetspace and we look forward to working with the team again.’
