A statement from Streetspace Group Ltd regarding the ongoing challenges surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.
We have been closely monitoring the impact that COVID-19 is having on our business, our colleagues,
our supply chain, our customers and their organisations through these unprecedented times. We are
very much aware and respectful of the Government’s message that all UK citizens and businesses must
play their part to protect the most vulnerable in our society and to ensure that the NHS has the ability
to care for the inevitable, increased number of patients that will be affected by the virus in the coming
days and weeks.
In response to the Prime Minister’s announcements in the last 48 hours regarding COVID-19 and with
our priority being the safety and wellbeing of Streetspace employees and sub-contractors, we have
taken the decision to close our factories from 5:00pm Tuesday 24th March with an orderly closure of
our installation sites and construction projects complete by Friday 27th March. This will last for at least
the initial three-week period announced by the government but we would like to stress that this will
remain temporary and that all operations will be back up and running at the very earliest opportunity
and when it is safe to do so.
We have a remote workforce that are staying safe but can still talk to you, give advice, process orders
and raise quotations. Please do not hesitate to contact us, we are still available on phone, email or
video and will be glad to hear from you.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues for their dedication over the last few
weeks as we have together navigated our way through this challenge. They have all been amazing and
I am very proud of what we have achieved.
