Glazed Aluminium Curtain Wall
Commercial aluminium system for pivot entrance doors, sliding door units and curtain walling include all structural design elements. All sections are powder coated to a standard non-metallic RAL or BS4800 colour range with closing cills, trims and flashings. Double action pivot entrance doors are specified with single point deadlock, armoured keep, flush bolts to slave leaf and concealed overhead closers. 28mm sealed double glazing units are specified as a minimum throughout.
Trisomet® steel roofing is single-component, twin wall insulated panel system, pre-finished in a choice of architectural colours. The Corus Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® range provides long-term performance with maximum durability and low-maintenance. Custom rainwater and eaves systems are fitted to all external elevations of ZONE™ Glazed Structures with lower edge eaves flashing incorporating box profile guttering and rainwater goods. All components are manufactured pre galvanised with a powder coated finish to standard nonmetallic RAL or BS4800 colour range.
The free standing portal frame is designed and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1090 EXC2. Fabricated steelwork undergoes a four part process for long life corrosion protection. 1. Cold grit-blast SA2.5 2. Zinc coat. 3. Anti-corrosive primer. 4. Polyester powder coat high gloss finish system to RAL or BS4800 colour (non-metallic).
ZONE™ internal space lighting is designed to provide consistent lux levels as specified by the relevant regulatory body for illuminance values and lighting distribution, using a series of LED luminaires suspended on structural elements. Emergency lighting, fire detection and fire alarm system is designed, installed and commissioned to the relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. The heating and cooling requirement to provide year round temperatures and airflow suitable for the use class will be determined by the build specification and DTM thermal analysis. The concrete subfloor construction, with float finish over continuous vapour control membrane and insulation is specified to meet the requirements of DTM thermal analysis. Glazing wall plinth construction forms a retaining structure for the subfloor, compensating for changes in ground level. The masonry façade provides continuity with existing building fabric. Rainwater drainage discharges either to slot drainage or a series of gullies, with connection to existing piped stormwater from the structural RWP elements.
ZONE™ flooring will be specified at design stage either as an 11mm depth 1-3mm aggregate resin bound decorative stone or a choice of contract vinyl finishes over latex screed and liquid DPM.
