Streetspace Group – COVID-19 Update

by Streetspace Group in Company News | 0 comments

Firstly, I would like to thank all of our stakeholders for their ongoing cooperation and support in these unprecedented times. I hope you, your families, friends and colleagues are keeping safe and well.

We made a decision a month ago to temporarily halt our production and installation operations at Streetspace Ltd in order to comply with the necessary restrictions imposed by the Government together with Public Health England and relevant Trade Association guidance.

We have continued to monitor this situation closely alongside the need to deliver essential works for our valued customers, particularly where these are addressing fire risks. Robust processes are being prepared for a restart that will enable our working environments in the factory and on site to be as safe and efficient as possible.

Further communications will be forthcoming across our business regarding site specific strategies in line with our phased factory restart from 4th May with a re-mobilising of our sites later during the month as current restrictions on supply chain ease.

Our consultancy team continues to provide our customer with the technical support and advice they need with an increase in virtual survey and 3D design visualisations proving very successful. Our sales staff are on hand to process quotations and orders with many of our customers working on essential infrastructure projects resulting from the ongoing restrictions while the discharging of FRA actions remains an ongoing responsibility.

We have been investing significantly in process improvements over the recent weeks with our R&D team progressing new and existing metroSTOR product design on apace. We look forward to sharing these exciting developments with you soon.

Once again, thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. Please do get in touch if we can help you in any way and in the meantime I trust you and yours keep safe!
