SEO Executive

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic SEO Executive to join our in-house marketing team.

Working closely with colleagues in content creation, media and graphic design, you will be responsible for managing all SEO activities including content, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

What does the role involve?

Manage SEO strategy for group products in the education, leisure, local authority and construction specifier sectors

  • Manage paid search PPC including budgetary control, tracking and analysis to maximise ROI
  • Develop weekly reporting with clear, actionable recommendations to deliver consistent improvement in organic search positions
  • Optimise copy and landing pages for SEO, working with the marketing team and external resources to build these
  • Develop and implement strategy including negotiation to acquire high-quality, relevant links
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Carry out thorough technical SEO audits on both of our websites as well as competitors’
  • Assist in the development of group social media presence across all appropriate digital channels

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team
  • Proven SEO experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
  • Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools including Google Analytics and Google Search Console, to monitor performance
  • Experience with bid management tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Experience in link acquisition including knowledge of outreach campaigns
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

Salary & Benefits

Based in Hythe, this is a full time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including 32 days holiday inc Bank Holidays, great facilities and a friendly, open working environment with regular staff events.

  • Work Hours: 8:30am – 5pm. Mon – Friday
  • Permanent role
  • Salary: £23,000 to £28,000 annual DOE

Social Media Executive

A new opportunity has arisen for a talented and dynamic Social Media Executive that has a strong understanding of how online channels work for business, as well as the ability to create fantastic content.

What does the role involve?

  • Generate exceptional and inspirational copy for digital and offline channels
  • Research, create and schedule daily engaging, relevant B2B social media content to raise brand awareness and promote products
  • Publish videos on YouTube and the online network, ensuring keywords, titles and descriptions are fully optimised
  • Work with the SEO Executive to help coordinate all integrated online output
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Teams to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy
  • Work with the Marketing Team to update and add enriching website copy and imagery including new products, landing pages and promotional assets
  • Copywriting for products (e.g. web pages, spec sheets, blogs, press releases and other marketing communications)
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules as required
  • Contribute to the reporting on all social media marketing activity, analysing performance, and optimising content and campaigns accordingly to continuously improve on delivery against key metrics including analysis of competitor campaigns
  • As the content and social media expert, you will be the first point of contact for the Customer Service Team
  • Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within our team

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Social Media channel management and content creation experience, ideally within a commercial environment, with your passion for this evident in your own social channels
  • Proven experience copywriting for B2B in a previous role
  • A flexible, engaging writing style and a keen eye for detail
  • A compassionate understanding and knowledge of the marketing sector and lead generation
  • A creative and energetic personality with strong presentation and negotiating skills
  • An interest in new challenges, comfortable taking instructions and executing them effectively and in an organised manner

Salary & Benefits
